In this interview, Betbazar’s Business Development Manager Gordon Shkuropat shares his journey in the company, the evolution of his role, proudest achievements and what makes Betbazar a unique and inspiring place to grow in the iGaming industry.
Career Journey & Growth
Can you tell us about your journey at Betbazar? How did you start, and how has your role evolved over the years?
I started my journey at Betbazar after several years of working for an iGaming platform, and I was immediately drawn into the fresh approach Betbazar brings to the market through its unique marketplace concept. Never before had I encountered a partner-driven business with success in so many products at once. Sportbook Solutions, Live Data Feed, Casino Slots & Live Studios and even tools for Risk management and KYC. Ever since I started it so happened that I had slightly bigger focus on Live Casino, but at the moment it’s been a smooth transition to more even distribution of Sports and Casino projects in my portfolio.
What were the biggest milestones in your career here so far?
Definitely a big milestone for me was the ICE London event in 2024. Why that specific event? It was the first time I wasn’t just attending a show — I was exhibiting, representing Betbazar at a beautifully crafted booth alongside our incredible team. Before that, I had attended several great events like Sigma, SBC, Ukrainian Gaming Week, but the scale and energy of the final ICE in London was something to behold. I returned back to my homebase tired but happy, because that show was definitely a turning point for me, the moment I truly fell in love with the fast paced iGaming conference lifestyle.
How has the company supported your professional growth and development?
There is a strong commitment to shaping Betbazar into a true learning environment for the employees. We’ve gone through some great courses focused on sales and business development, communications and technology — all of which have significantly contributed to my growth, not only within the iGaming industry, but also in my development as a well-rounded professional.
Impact & Achievements
What achievement or project are you most proud of during your time at the company?
As far as my achievements go, I was able to build a strong network of iGaming platforms that are now closely connected with our marketplace through onboarding multiple products we offer. My goal has always been to deliver tangible results and help them close important gaps in their gaming operations — and seeing that come to life has been incredibly rewarding.
What’s the best product you’ve mastered?
I am the type of person who likes to take challenges head on, and as soon as I joined betbazar I set a goal to fully understand the product I had the least prior experience with — the Sportsbook Data Feed. At this point, I believe I’ve truly mastered it, which allows me to tell a compelling story around it. It’s truly a unique Data Feed, built on years of B2C experience on highly competitive markets, and I think that’s exactly what enabled us to create what operators truly need: the blend of top-tier trading, the industry’s widest event library focused on high conversions and performance, and great technology optimized for minimal errors and fast data transmission.

Communication is open and constructive, always focused on finding smarter ways to improve our approach, work more efficiently, and think outside the box to reach results faster. There’s a genuine sense of shared purpose — we celebrate each other’s wins, support one another through challenges, and continuously learn and grow together. It’s this team spirit that makes working in our department both inspiring and rewarding.
Can you share a moment when you felt especially supported or inspired by your colleagues or leadership?
What I consider inspirational about Betbazar’s leadership is a perfected approach to building partnerships. Even before I joined I was immediately impressed that despite being around on the market for just a couple of years, Betbazar got to provide products for the movers and shakers of the iGaming industry. Not many get to become involved on that level that fast, and It is an attestation to the winning strategy that Betbazar followed from the very inception, and proves superior business acumen of our C-suite.
Motivation & Advice
What keeps you motivated and excited to continue growing with the company?
I am most passionate about our developments within the company — from bringing in new products and strengthening partnerships to deepening our expertise across every aspect of the business. What keeps me motivated is seeing how every effort contributes to something bigger, how each step forward creates new opportunities for learning and growth. I truly believe things have only moved upward over time, and our work has become even more exciting and challenging in the most meaningful way. Being part of this journey, surrounded by a driven and supportive team, makes me genuinely excited for what the future holds.
